After the 1850s Victorian gold rush, Melbourne exploded with displays of new wealth. Tour dramatic Gothic Revival facades, Art Deco jewels and Neoclassical monoliths.

This free, self-guided walk is approximately 4.3km and takes about 2 hours.

Where: Start at the Capitol theatre, 113 Swanston Street; and finish at the Shrine of Remembrance, Kings Domain, Birdwood Avenue, Melbourne Vic 3001
